From the first time I set down in LAX I wanted to capture the side of LA that I love. Real people and the non tourist traps. Numerous return trips from working with bands, artists and some long stays were ok to capture pictures but this meant that I never had sufficient time to really concentrate on the project I had in my mind. I needed a few weeks to really get to the places i wanted.. Then came the Icelandic volcano. Bingo! Two extra weeks to get the project nailed, hence the title.
